Delete your account

Deleting your account deactivates it right away. All your data is permanently deleted after 30 days, unless you sign in again before then.

  1. In the Me tab, tap at the top right to open Settings.
  2. Tap Manage Account, then Delete Account.
  3. Read the confirmation, then tap Delete Account.
If you sign in with Apple on an iPhone, Apple asks you to sign in once more, to confirm Rijjin’s removal from your Apple Account.
  4. Rijjin signs you out and shows “Your account has been deactivated. Sign in again within 30 days to restore it.”

What happens next

  • Your account is deactivated immediately. Other members can no longer see it.
  • After 30 days, all your data is permanently deleted. This can’t be undone.
  • We send you a message with the date your account will be deleted.
  • Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription bought through an app store. Cancel it in the store.

The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted, and what stays with the people you shared it with.

Changed your mind?

Sign in again with the same method within 30 days. Your account comes back as it was, and Rijjin shows “Welcome back! Your account deletion was canceled.” See Restore a deleted account.

If it doesn’t work

  • If you see “We couldn't delete your account. Please try again.”, check that you’re online, then try again.
  • If you closed Apple’s sheet instead of signing in, your account is still deleted. You can stop using Sign in with Apple with Rijjin later, in the Settings app on your iPhone: tap your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple.

Still need help?

Email us in English or Japanese. Tell us how you sign in (Apple, Google or LINE) and what happened. A screenshot helps.
