Block a member

Blocking hides the two of you from each other: profiles, activities, messages and Beacon.

Block someone

From their profile:

  1. Tap ⋯ at the top right (⋮ on Android), then Block user.
  2. Tap Block user again to confirm.

From a conversation: tap their name at the top, then Block user, and confirm.

What blocking does

  • You can’t see each other’s profiles, activities or posts, or find each other in search.
  • Any follow between you is removed.
  • Your conversation with them closes, and neither of you can message the other.
  • Any Beacon you share with each other stops.

They aren’t told. In a group conversation, blocking a member with Block a member hides their messages from you only. They stay in the group and can still read it.

Unblock someone

  1. Go to Me, then Settings, then Blocked accounts.
  2. Tap Unblock next to their name, then OK.

Unblocking doesn’t restore follows. Either of you can follow the other again.
