Connect Apple Health

On iPhone, bring your workouts, sleep and health readings into Rijjin. Rijjin only reads from Apple Health; it never writes to it.

  1. In the Me tab, tap at the top right, then tap Apps and Devices.
  2. Tap Apple Health.
  3. iOS asks what Rijjin may read. Turn on what you want to share, then tap Allow.
  4. The row shows Sync enabled. Rijjin then imports up to five years of your history, and the row shows how far it has got.

Rijjin reads workouts, sleep, body composition such as weight and height, and heart and fitness readings such as resting heart rate and VO₂max. It never writes to Apple Health.

Change what Rijjin can read

Apple keeps these switches in the Settings app, not in Rijjin: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Health, then Rijjin.

In Rijjin, tap the Apple Health row, then Manage permissions. Rijjin asks again only for data it hasn’t asked about before.

If it doesn’t work

  • Permission needed: turn Rijjin’s access on in Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Health, then Rijjin.
  • “Couldn't turn on health sync. Check your connection and try again.” Check that you’re online, then tap the row again.
  • Apple Health is on iPhone only. On Android, see Connect Health Connect.
