Connect Health Connect
On Android, bring your sleep, body measurements and heart readings into Rijjin through Health Connect. Rijjin only reads; it never writes.
- In the Me tab, tap at the top right, then tap Apps and Devices.
- Tap Health Connect.
- Health Connect asks what Rijjin may read. Allow what you want to share.
- The row shows Sync enabled.
Rijjin reads sleep, body composition such as weight and height, and heart and fitness readings such as resting heart rate and VO₂max. It doesn’t read workouts from Health Connect yet: to bring in activities on Android, connect Garmin, Coros or Suunto. See Connect Garmin, Coros or Suunto.
Import your history
Health Connect lets an app read only the last 30 days unless you allow past data. To import up to five years:
- Under the Health Connect row, tap the history row. It says
“Health Connect needs to allow reading data older than 30 days.”
- Allow access to past data in Health Connect.
If you don’t allow it, Rijjin shows “History access was not granted, so only the last 30 days can be read.”
You can still allow it later, in Health Connect under App permissions.
If it doesn’t work
- Permission needed: open Health Connect and allow Rijjin under App permissions.
“This device has no health store Rijjin can read.”
Install or update Health Connect from Google Play, then try again.“Couldn't turn on health sync. Check your connection and try again.”
Check that you’re online, then tap the row again.
