Share a Beacon link
Send a link that shows your Beacon to anyone, even without Rijjin, and revoke it when you like.
A link shows your Beacon to anyone who has it. It opens in the Rijjin app if they have it, or on the Rijjin website if they don’t.
Create a link
- Go to Me, then Settings, then Beacon.
- Under SHARING, tap Create a link.
- Add a label if you like. Only you see it.
- Tap Create a link, then send it from the share sheet.
If you create a link before you start, Rijjin creates it when Beacon starts, and opens the share sheet then.
The link shows your current location until you revoke it, or Beacon stops or ends. If your Beacon keeps Full route history, you can choose to show the route as well. A Beacon can have up to 5 links.
Send it again, or by email
Tap ⋯ on the link (⋮ on Android), then Share link or Email this link. “Rijjin sends one email with this link and doesn't keep the address.”
Revoke a link
- Tap ⋯ on the link (⋮ on Android), then Revoke.
- Tap Revoke again to confirm.
Anyone with it stops seeing your location. A revoked link can’t be turned back on; create a new one instead.
